Release Notes

This our first release to CodePlex!

This release includes two changes since the previous version:
  • Fix for handling of quoted printable messages to resolve an issue where stray equal signs (=) show up within the message. This was an issue with the decoding and not a problem with the messages themselves.
  • It now remembers the last used settings when forwarding a message on to a real server (server, to address, from address).

Excellent product. Very usefull for testing applications that sends e-mail. Unit testers, this is not for you.

Papercut is one of the first things I fire up on my dev rig after a reboot. I run it constantly. It is a great tool for testing generated email but also a great tool to keep "test" emails from getting out into the wild. I work on a product that sends a lot of generated emails - when users create new accounts, etc. With papercut I can test locally without worrying about them getting beyond my pc.

Great for being able to test with emails without having to configure an SMTP server (or hook into an existing server with difficult restrictions). Definitely a tool that makes my job easier.
