ActiveX problem

Oct 6, 2014 at 3:43 PM
Fresh install of Papercut on a new machine. While reading the welcome message in Papercut, an ActiveX warning appeared. I clicked what I thought was the button to allow it, but then the body of the welcome message disappeared, replaced by "This page cannot be displayed".

Uninstalled Papercut, cleaned out the registry except for a few references that I wasn't sure about, reinstalled Papercut, but I'm still getting "This page cannot be displayed".

Any advice on how to fix?

Yeah, IE's wonderful security feature. I've made a fix to hopefully solve the issue and will release shortly.

Hi Jaben,

I have been looking at this and have fixed it as follows:-

When you generate the html for the browser you need to add Environment.NewLine after the MOTW comment to make it work.
